Designed Interventions began in Perth, Western Australia in 1996 as the organisational consulting practice for Joanne Fitzgerald. Clients included large private organisations, such as Qantas, government department like the Education Department and small professional services companies like Simonds Le Ferve.

In May 1998 Designed Interventions was awarded the Western Australian MicroBusiness Award after establishing itself as a highly professional, effective and successful consulting business. This Award then entitled Designed Interventions to be represented in Melbourne later in 1998 to compete for the national awards.

In Melbourne, Designed Interventions was a national winner in the 1998 National Officeworks® Micro Business Award™. It was with this national success as a platform that Designed Interventions was sold as a business entity in Perth and relocated its base to Melbourne.

In 2003 Designed Interventions celebrated its first five years of successful professional business in Victoria. As a small consultancy we continue to develop and to deliver tailored, effective organisational interventions to a wide range of client organisations.

Now, in the mid 2000’s Designed Interventions has expanded its capacity to include the role of a junior Organisational Psychologist to assist, support and develop the work of the consultancy projects for clients.

This means that in addition to the network of very experienced consultants with whom we work on projects, Designed Interventions can boast that our people number two.
